A&S Chronora and Rolex are pleased to announce the official reopening of the Rolex Boutique in Beirut. The boutique is ideally located on Weygand Street, welcoming visitors into the heart of the Lebanese capital. The newly renovated boutique offers professional expertise in an elegant setting, one that promotes a sense of harmony, discretion and intimacy with the brand. A few steps away from the famous Place de I’Étoile, which hosts the emblematic Rolex clock tower, the boutique is a key luxury destination in the downtown area.
“At A&S Chronora, we are proud to have been the official Rolex retailer in Lebanon for almost two decades, a period that has witnessed numerous challenges; these have only strengthened our determination to maintain our strong presence in Lebanon, while we continue to devote ourselves to fulfilling our role in presenting the world of Rolex to our loyal community,” said Mr Ziad Annan, owner of A&S Chronora.
“After ten months, it’s time to welcome back our customers and invite them to continue their journey with us in the newly renovated boutique, which showcases the timelessness and perfection of Rolex watches.”
Every element of the interior design features the elegant Rolex aesthetic and radiates the values of the Rolex crown. Excellence, precision and attention to detail emanate from the careful calibration of colours and patterns in the fittings and furnishings.
Sensitive lighting accentuates the beauty of a selection of Rolex watches, which are displayed in refined showcases lined with beige leather and finished with bronze trims. A striking emerald aqua wall highlights Rolex’s rich heritage – its wave motif referencing the iconic Oyster, the world’s first waterproof wristwatch. This intense green is referred around the boutique, creating accents that harmonize a refreshed colour palette. The walls mix textures from walnut brown wood to beige-coloured stone.
Distinct elements, such as Sefar glass with a golden sandblasted adhesive, were used on the doors giving access to the showcases. In the central part, laser-cut panels repeat the pattern on the glass.
Three bespoke showcase designs were created with landmarks such as the Baalbek Roman Temple, a Lebanese heritage house and the Place de l’Étoile Rolex clock tower, a motif that represents the timeless heritage and relentless perseverance of Lebanon.
The Lebanese traditional heritage house is a symbol of family love, warm hospitality, and magnificent Levantine architecture
Made of Beirut sandstone, Jounieh limestone, and Deir el Qamar red stone, the Place de l’Étoile Clock Tower symbolises a mosaic of cultures and origins and resembles us in its diversity, reflecting our mission to stay faithful to our beloved city.
Standing stronger than ever after two thousand years, here lie the remains of a great and powerful civilization, that once ruled all over the region withstanding the test of time.
