The latest Oyster and Cellini creations by Rolex

At Baselworld 2017, Rolex is introducing the latest creations in its Oyster and Cellini collections.

This year’s flagship models include a new generation of the professional divers’ model, the Oyster Perpetual Sea-Dweller, updated for its 50th anniversary with a new, larger 43 mm case and Rolex‘s new calibre 3235 movement. New versions of the Cosmograph Daytona in 18 ct yellow, white or Everose gold have adopted the innovative Oysterflex bracelet in elastomer and a monobloc Cerachrom bezel in black ceramic. The Oyster Perpetual Sky-Dweller, the classic watch for world travellers, is introduced in yellow Rolesor and white Rolesor versions (combining 904L steel and 18 ct yellow or white gold) with new dials.

In the Cellini collection, Rolex is introducing an entirely new model, the Cellini Moonphase, with a distinctive and exclusive display of the phases of the moon.

43 MM CASE AND CALIBRE 3235

The latest generation of the Oyster Perpetual Sea-Dweller, the legendary professional divers’ watch created 50 years ago, in 1967, now features a larger, 43 mm case and the new calibre 3235.

This movement at the forefront of watchmaking technology is backed by 14 patents, including for the exclusive Chronergy escapement, and offers a power reserve of approximately 70 hours.

For the first time, the new Sea-Dweller is equipped with a Cyclops lens on the crystal at 3 o’clock to enhance the reading of the date. The dial carries the name Sea-Dweller in red, a reference to the first model.
