Enter the ocean’s twilight zone where the last trickle of light from the surface disappears in the abyss.

On 26 March 2012, James Cameron made a record-breaking solo dive 10,908 meters below the surface of the Pacific Ocean in the DEEPSEA CHALLENGER submersible, a robust science platform, reaching the ocean’s deepest point. The inspirational DEEPSEA CHALLENGE voyage paved the way for a new era in scientific exploration of the ocean floor, the least known area of the planet.
